How to Register on the eGov PH App
Quick answer
To register on eGov PH, install the app from your phone's app store, enter your mobile number, type the OTP sent by SMS, fill in your details, pass the face check, and set a 6-digit MPIN. It is free and takes about 10–15 minutes.
Before you start
- A smartphone with the latest system update.
- Your own mobile number with load or signal for SMS.
- Your National ID card number or ePhilID, or another ID the app accepts.
- A well-lit place for the face check.
Register only for yourself. Never let someone else take the face check for you.
Steps
1. Open your phone's app store
Search eGov PH. Check that the publisher is DICT before you install.
2. Open the app and tap Register or Sign up
3. Enter your mobile number
4. Type the one-time PIN (OTP) sent by SMS
Never share it.
5. Fill in your name, birth date and other details exactly as on your ID
6. Enter your PhilSys Card Number or scan your ID if asked
7. Take the face check (liveness check)
Follow the on-screen moves.
8. Create a 6-digit MPIN
Do not use your birth date or 123456.
9. Turn on fingerprint or face unlock if you want
10. You now see the home screen
If it does not work
