How to Apply for an SSS Salary Loan Online
Quick answer
You apply for an SSS salary loan by logging in to My.SSS, opening the Loans menu, choosing Salary Loan and submitting the form. The money goes to a payout account enrolled in your name. You must have enough posted contributions, and if you are employed, your employer must certify the loan online. Use our SSS salary loan calculator to estimate your loan amount first.
Before you start
- A working My.SSS account.
- Enough posted contributions. For example, SSS has required 36 months total, with 6 in the last 12 months.
- No unpaid past salary loan in default, and no final benefit already received, like retirement.
- A disbursement (payout) account in your own name, enrolled and approved in My.SSS.
- If employed: your employer must be up to date with SSS and must certify your loan in their employer account.
- Fixers cannot speed up your loan. Never give them your login.
