How to Download Your ePhilID (Digital National ID)

Quick answer

You can get your ePhilID online on the PhilSys site using your TRN and a one-time PIN (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number. You can also claim a printed ePhilID at a registration center, or see a digital ID in the eGov PH app. It is free.

Before you start

Your TRN from the transaction slip.
The mobile number you gave at registration. The OTP goes there.
A phone or computer that can save a PDF or image.
If you will print it: a color printer and plain paper.

Do not share your OTP with anyone. PhilSys staff will never ask for it.

Steps

1. Go to https://philsys.gov.ph/ and find the ePhilID link
2. Enter your TRN and the other details asked
3. Complete the captcha
4. Wait for the OTP on your phone
Enter it within the time limit.
5. Check that the name and photo are yours
6. Download the ePhilID
Save it on your phone and in a second safe place.
7. If you need a paper copy, print it in color at actual size

If it does not work

Error messages and problems, and what to do.
Error or problem	What to do
"ePhilID not yet available"	your record is still being processed. Try again in a few weeks.
No OTP received	your registered number may be old or wrong. Wait 5 minutes, then request again. If the number is lost, visit a center to update it.
"Invalid OTP"	the code expired or was mistyped. Request a new one.
Wrong name or photo	do not use it. Report it to PhilSys at 1388.

Frequently asked questions

Is the ePhilID a valid ID?

Yes. It is accepted as proof of identity like the physical card. Some offices may still ask for the card.

Can I laminate a printed ePhilID?

Rules may say not to laminate it. Keep it in a plastic sleeve instead.

Do I still get the physical card?

Yes. The ePhilID does not cancel your card.

Does the ePhilID cost money?

No. It is free.
