How to Check Your National ID Status Online

Quick answer

You can check your National ID status on the PhilSys website using the TRN on your transaction slip. The result tells you if your card is still being processed, printed, or out for delivery. If it says "not found", wait a few days after registration and check your TRN again.

Before you start

Your transaction slip with your TRN. The TRN is a long number, about 29 digits.
The birth date you used at registration.
A phone or computer with internet.

Never post a photo of your transaction slip on social media. It has personal data.

Steps

1. Open https://philsys.gov.ph/ and look for the status check or "Check delivery status" link
2. Type your TRN exactly as printed
Do not add spaces or dashes.
3. Enter any other detail asked, like your birth date
4. Complete the captcha, if shown
5. Tap the search or check button
6. Read your status
7. What the status usually means
8. Registered / for processing
your data is being checked.
9. For printing / printed
your card is being made.
10. Out for delivery
the card is on its way to your address.
11. Delivered
someone received the card. If you did not get it, contact PhilSys.

If it does not work

Error messages and problems, and what to do.
Error or problem	What to do
"TRN not found"	you typed it wrong, or your record is not yet in the system. Check each digit. Try again after 3-5 days.
"Invalid input"	remove spaces, letters or dashes.
Status says delivered but you have no card	ask your barangay and local post office first. Then call 1388.
Status has not changed for months	this is common. Get your ePhilID in the meantime. See download ePhilID.
