How to Reset Your LTMS Password

To reset your LTMS password, click Forgot Password on portal.lto.gov.ph, enter your registered email, and open the reset link LTO sends you. Then set a new password and log in. You must still have access to the email you used when you registered.

Steps

1. Go to https://portal.lto.gov.ph/
2. Click Forgot Password under the login form
3. Enter your registered email address
Answer the captcha if shown.
4. Click Submit
5. Open your email
Find the message from LTO and click the reset link. The link may expire after a short time.
6. Type your new password twice
Follow the rules on screen.
7. Save
Log in with your email and the new password.

If it does not work

Error messages and problems, and what to do.
Error or problem	What to do
"Email not found"	you may have registered with another email. Try your other addresses.
No reset email	check Spam and Promotions. Wait 15 minutes before asking again. Too many requests may be blocked for a while.
"Link expired" or "Invalid token"	ask for a new reset email and use the newest link only.
"Password does not meet requirements"	use a longer password with upper case, lower case, a number and a symbol.
New password still rejected at login	clear your browser cache, then try again in a private window.

Frequently asked questions

I lost access to my LTMS email. Can I still reset my password?

Not through the website alone. Contact LTO through the help channels on lto.gov.ph or visit an LTO office with a valid ID.

Can I reset my LTMS password with my mobile number?

The standard reset uses your email.

Will resetting my password delete my records?

No. Your license, vehicle and payment records stay the same. Only the password changes.

Can I make a new LTMS account instead?

Avoid this. Duplicate accounts can block linking your license later. Reset the password on your first account.
