How to Reschedule a DFA Passport Appointment

Quick answer

You may be able to move a paid DFA passport appointment once, through the link in your confirmation email or on passport.gov.ph, before your original date. If you miss your slot without rescheduling, your payment may be lost and you must book and pay again.

Before you start

The email you used to book.
Your appointment reference number and payment receipt.
A new date in mind. Check slots first.

Never pay anyone to "move" your slot. Rescheduling through DFA is free.

Steps

1. Open the confirmation email from DFA
Look for a manage or reschedule link.
2. If there is no link, go to https://passport.gov.ph/ and look for the reschedule option
3. Enter your reference number and email, as asked
4. Choose a new site, date and time from the open slots
5. Confirm
You get a new appointment form by email.
6. Print the new form
Bring it with your old receipt on the new date.
7. If the site has no reschedule option, contact DFA through the channels on consular.dfa.gov.ph
Say your reference number and the reason.

If it does not work
