The SSS maternity benefit pays 100% of your average daily salary credit for 105 days after a live birth, 120 days if you are a solo parent, or 60 days after a miscarriage or emergency termination. You qualify if you paid at least 3 monthly contributions in the 12 months before the semester of your delivery. You apply online on My.SSS, and employed members get the benefit through their employer first.

  • Maternity notification sent to SSS (and to your employer, if employed).
  • Proof of delivery: PSA birth certificate of the child, or the documents SSS lists.
  • For miscarriage or emergency termination: medical records as SSS lists.
  • For solo parents: Solo Parent ID.
