OEC exemption: how to get it or your OEC in 2026
Quick answer
The Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) is the DMW document that shows you are a documented OFW. You show it at the airport when you leave the Philippines. - Wait for the result. If your record matches, the system gives you an exemption number or QR code.
- Save and print the exemption. Show it at immigration.
2. Get a regular OEC
- Log in to DMW Online Services and fill in your employment details.
- If the system does not allow an exemption, book an appointment or choose online processing.
- Pay the OEC fee and your OWWA membership if due.
- Download or print the OEC. Travel before it expires.
